History The E-Type coupé experienced two different body shapes. A classic two seater and a four seater (know as "2+2") that is slightly longer.Series 1, 2 and 3 especially differ from their headlamps and grille. In 1975, the XJS replaced the E-Type. On screen career The E-Type coupé clearly suffered the sucess of the roadster version. However, it had significant roles in The Avengers and Le Petit Baigneur, where a stretched E-Type trails... a tractor !
