History The XJ was launched in 1968, the seventh version is now available by Jaguar's dealers. The most famous XJs are the ones with straight 6 cylinder engine (XJ6) tought V8 and V12 have been released. XJ are easily recognizable with their 2x2 round headlamps and its large front grille. On screen career The XJ has been widely used on screen and most of all in TV series. As it quoted value decreased fast, it was often used as a stunt car in more recent movies. Yet, series 1&2 are becoming more and more expansive, and thus less present in movies.
